VIZIO SB4051-C0 Soundbar Speaker Review

Originally introduced in 2016, Vizio’s SB4051-C0 offers the best performance and sound at it’s price point. For the price, nothing can touch it. It also has a ton of great features that make it expandable and compatible with almost all setups.

Design

The SB4051-C0 has a clean design. It has black powder coated metal grilles that enclose all of the drivers, capped with aluminum edges. It’s a 40 inch wide system, with a 10 inch square subwoofer and two discreet rear channel drivers. It’ll definitely complement almost any home theater setup. And with it’s Bluetooth features, it requires no wires whatsoever to the subwoofer and rear channels. All of the inputs/outputs for the soundbar is recessed in the back side of the unit too so you can place the soundbar on a flat surface or against a wall without any gaps for wires.

Features

The Vizio SB4051-C0 is a 5.1 speaker system. It has HDMI connectivity via one HDMI input, 2 aux inputs (one 3.5mm headphone jack and one RCA jack), and one HDMI ARC-compatible output. It also features 1 optical audio input and a USB plug for devices. It offers Bluetooth with aptX compatibility to stream audio from tablets and smartphones, and connects wirelessly to its subwoofer and rear channel speakers.

Sound Quality

For the price, this is the best sounding soundbar that we’ve tested. It’s got tons of bass! However on certain songs and movies it may even have too much bass. But you can adjust it easily to match your preference. It’s very well balanced with a full range of sound. The highs and mediums are fantastic. In a lot of cases, 2.1 soundbar systems really don’t capture the full sound of your audio. The beauty to a 5.1 system like this is that it truly brings a surround sound experience to your theater with crisp and detailed sound. It’s what makes this setup great.
