Linksys WRT1900ACS Wireless Internet Router Review

The WRT1900ACS us Linksys’ flagship router. It features twice the RAM and a much faster processor than its predecessor, the WRT1900AC. It’s a fantastic new router and worth the price tag. It’s Linksys’ best router.

The Linksys WRT1900ACS has a whopping 1.6GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of DDR3 memory. It’s an incredibly powerful router, which translates to better performance and speed. It shares the same design and dimensions as its predecessor, the WRT1900AC, but is still a great looking router. It features the classic blue/black design that Linksys is known for. One of the key differences in its design from previous models is that it’s stackable and wall-mountable. Internally, the biggest difference in the design is the fan. It’s much larger.

The WRT1900ACS maintains a top speed of 1,300 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, with up to 600 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. In our opinion, this router is the sweet spot for home Wi-Fi routers, yet fast enough for business purposes.
